Introduction of Axiom Controller View:
Controller View® is a strategic financial control platform used for Regulatory Reporting and Financial Control. It enables greater transparency across the entire enterprise by rapidly adapting to new regulatory landscapes. Various Regulatory agencies, across the globe, require financial organizations to disclose business specific numbers and submit reports on a regular basis. These reports are used:
- To ensure compliance with different standards
- To evaluate risk
- To assess the overall health of the economy
- To gather the appropriate data from different sources, enrich it according to the business requirements which suit the needs of a specific report, and ultimately create a complete report to submit to the regulatory agency
Use: Our clients use this platform for Regulatory, Management, Variance Reporting, Reconciliations, Data integration, risk management, and financial control.
Project:
1. A Project represents a collection of objects dedicated to a specific business requirement.
2. The range of business requirements may vary from a single task to a specific report or even a group of reports.
Branch:
1. A Branch is a version of an existing Project created to achieve a specific task.
2. Branches are used to capture changes by keeping original data and structure intact.
3. We can’t create a branch independent of the project.
Dependencies:
-
Projects/Branches can be dependent (based) on shared objects or tasks that could be Data Sources, Data Models, detail sets or entire Projects that exist in other Projects/Branches.
-
To avoid redundancy, an existing object/task can be referenced and used from an existing Project/Branch by establishing a link (Dependency) between the two.
-
Objects linked via Dependency become available in the current Project/Branch objects pane. This approach allows for reusability and consistency, as well as reduces maintenance efforts.
- Some regulatory reports require utilization of previously reported results to be accounted for in the current filing period.
